Initial Design Objective
In partnership with a Principal Designer, I led this project and the visual refresh of LinkedIn’s DesignOrg Show & Tell, a recurring internal forum used across the Product and Design orgs to showcase work, share learnings, and foster cross-team collaboration.
To expand beyond LinkedIn’s core brand system, I developed three distinct visual directions, each grounded in a clear conceptual framework:
Mural
A bold, Bauhaus-inspired system built from modular geometry and expressive composition. Designed to reflect the energy and diversity of a creative community.
Morphic
A soft, future-forward direction using gradients, fluid forms, and subtle neumorphic cues—communicating experimentation, innovation, and momentum.
Blueprints
A process-driven system inspired by technical drawings and grid structures. Linework and schematics highlighted the thinking behind the work, not just the outcomes.
These explorations defined the visual territory for a refreshed identity system and reframed how design storytelling could live inside LinkedIn’s internal culture.

Shipped Results
We ultimately landed on a hybrid system combining Mural + Morphic, pulling the strongest elements from each.
Mural provided clarity and structure—clean layouts, balanced composition, and a calm color foundation that allowed content to lead without visual noise. Morphic introduced warmth and motion through gradients and fluid shapes, bringing modernity and expressiveness to the icon and illustration system.
The final identity blended mid-century Bauhaus principles with contemporary gradient-driven visuals, resulting in a refreshed Show & Tell experience that felt both grounded and forward-looking.
This system was shipped and adopted across the Design Product Org, including presentation templates, iconography, and self-serve assets—making it easier for teams to share work confidently and consistently.
